“What works? The effectiveness of youth employment programs” – during the two conference days in Berlin several very interesting studies concerning youth employment promotion tried to address this question.The conference formed part of a research project that the GIZ – Sector Project Employment Promotion is conducting together with RWI – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research, the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). The research project is financed by the Leibniz Association.
